Ms. Lin made her solo debut at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall as winner of the Artists International Competition. Concert tours have taken her to Canada, Italy and Taiwan, and she has performed as featured soloist with the Camerata, Connecticut String and Chappaqua orchestras, Hartt and Irvington symphonies, and Ossining Choral Society. Ms. Lin has performed chamber music with cellist Carter Brey, flutist Robert Stallman and soprano Berenice Bramson at Weill Recital Hall, and with the New Hungarian Quartet in Taos, New Mexico, and the Peregrine Trio throughout the Northeast.
A native of Taiwan, Ms. Lin received her bachelor’s from Hartt School of Music and the William Petchek scholarship to the master's program at Juilliard. While there she performed as soloist at Alice Tully Hall. She received her doctorate of musical arts from City University of New York and is on the faculty of Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut.
Mr. Siedenberg has performed as soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He was Principal Cellist with Century Orchestra, Osaka, Japan, for four years and has appeared with the DePaul Chamber Orchestra and the New American Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Siedenberg has performed with pianists Richard Goode, Andras Schiff and Mitsuko Uchida, among others, and has participated in the Marlboro, Aspen and Norfolk summer festivals. A founding member of the Elements String Quartet, he is also the cellist of the Queen’s Chamber Band, with whom he has recorded on Lyrichord Discs. He made his concerto debut in 1983 with the Chicago Symphony.
